Chairside Implant Services was founded in 2009 by Dr. David Forlano. His goal was to make implant placement and sinus augmentation more convenient, comfortable and affordable for your patients.

Dr Forlano is a 1988 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He is currently a practicing general dentist with over 20 years experience in implant placement. After hearing “Do you do that here?” whenever he would recommend a dental implant, he realized that patients do not want the inconvenience of going to another office, filling out another set of registration forms, and sitting in a strange waiting room wondering if they will receive the same attention they receive at your office,... so he sought advanced training and education in implant placement and sinus augmentation. In 1995, he completed the prestigious two-year implant program at New York University School of Dentistry and was subsequently asked to stay on as an advanced clinical associate.

Dr. Forlano is currently on faculty at New York University College of Dentistry as a Clinical Instructor in Implantology at the Linhart Continuing Education Program where he teaches and mentors other dentists the science of dental implant placement and restoration. He is also the Case Presentation Leader for the Thursday session, helping the dentists prepare their implant cases for approval and presentation before the surgical directors, faculty and participants. Dr. Forlano has attained Diplomate status in Implantology, the highest award possible through the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has helped dentists in the tri-state area transform their general practices into true implant practices by incorporating prosthetically-driven implantology into their daily routine.
